Slide show glitch?

Post by Jimit »

:( I often use the slide show feature and have many stored in my picture folder. I have just up-graded to Win2000 and when I try and access the files I keep getting the error message that ****.sld is not supported. I have downloaded the most recent version of XnView and tried to create some new shows but after saving I still get the same message! Am I doing something wrong?

I am not quite sure what you mean by "access the files", but I try to give some hints nevertheless:

Please check whether the option "Associate Slide File with XnView" is activated/checked (see menu "Tools->Options", category "Install"). Once the this option is set, double-clicking on a Slide show File (.sld) in MS Explorer will open XnView and start the slide show.

Opening a slide file using using "File->Open..." will not work, this one is for pictures only.
Please use "Tools->Slide show.." or Ctrl+L to open the slide show dialog and then "Open..." to open a specific slide show.
