'Not enough memory' when converting large image

Post by Leander »

I want convert some images (tiff, true color) -> (tiff, 256 colors). The image size is about 800MB. Some of these images will work others wont. The error message is 'not enough memory'

The RAM size is 1GB. For test purposes i've used 1.5GB of RAM. But the error message remaine the same.

I'am desparately waiting for any help!

Have you tried batch converting them? Batch converting doesn't use as much memory as opening each image in the viewer.
