Can't add categories

XNMP 0.88 on archlinux.

I screwed up, I decided to clean up my categories and start fresh.

In the category tab, there were a lot of old categories loaded from XMPs when reading the files.

I pressed the down arrow/triangle at the top from the categories panel > categories management > clear all and this deleted all the categories but...

Now I can't create new categories. No right click on the categories panel.

How can I add new ones?

I did. It makes no difference. Before I deleted all categories, I was able to go into the category panel > right click and add a new category.

But when I deleted all of them, I can't. Image selected:

• Right click on categories panel: nothing
• Right click on image: the last item == category, there's a right arrow/triangle, left click on it and nothing...

In "Categories" panel, I never could use right-click without selecting an image.

In "categories filter" panel , I can right-clic on the first one "Categories", for creating a new one, but I never used it.

Which one are you using ?

You can also create a new text file, containing two lines :
cat
dog

and use the down arrow/triangle at the top from the categories panel > categories management >import category file
and import this file
