How to open .fpx files
fpx is on the list of supported formats, but I can't open this with XnView MP. Thanks for your help.

I can't either, after hours spent messing with it. Does anyone know of another product that can?

Re: How to open .fpx files
I don't seem to have the subdirectory for the plugin.
Q1) Where should the subdirectory be found?
Q2) Which plugin handles the .FPX file?
I am on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro with MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
Thanks
Bill

Thanks Pierre. Guess it’s time to break out the old Win XP machine. It’s been dormant since I switched to Mac in 2015. To bad you don’t have the plug-in for Mac because I REALLY like the application.

Re: How to open .fpx files
Hi Pierre,
So I resurrected my old windows machine, Win xp Professional Version 2002, so I could use the fpx plugin.
I downloaded the 32 bit version of XnViewMP and extracted it to a directory on the XP machine.
I downloaded the FPX plugin, and extracted it to the Plugins subdirectory.
When I run the XnViewMP Executable, I get an "Invalid 32 bit application" error message. (Note, I left Windows land for Apple land in 2015 so my windows skills are really rusty, so bare with me please.)
I also tried the Setup Win 32 bit download and got the same error when I tried to run the executable.
So, what am I missing? Probably something obvious.
BTW, The version of XnView I am running on my mac is really handy but I have old .fpx images from 1998 that, if I convert to fpx using another MAC program, it strips all the meta data. So I'm hoping XnViewMP solves that problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bill
