What am I doing wrong?

I've installed XNview .89 for Windows 10 64 Bit, but it freezes as soon as I start it.
It asks what I want to do with XnViewMP.url, but I can't do anything after I select any option (Open, Save, Cancel).
The screen shows a browser window containing the contents of C:\Program Files\XnViewMP\

Any suggestions?
