It strikes me that XnViewMP shows '0' in the dpi column (many files) but when I check the dpi within Explorer it is 96,
see below
Any idea why ?

when there is no dpi, i use 96 as default for opened image

Okay.
However, please note that out of a list of 3600 images, XnViewMP shows 1540 with 0 DPI
Within Explorer only 10 images have 0 dpi.
Big difference, just wanted to inform you about it.
