Problem with renamed folder

I have renamed a folder using windows (from TG5 to TG5_BDN).
Now when I select pictures within xnview MP with the Categories Filter panel, (e.g., I select category "UW"), I have both the thumbnails of TG5 (actually with no associated file) and those of TG5_BDN (the correct ones). Is there a way of deleting all TG5 thumbnails?
I understand this problem would not have occurred if I had renamed the folder using xnview and that I've learned the hard way...

Settings->Catalog
Select the folder you want to delete and press delete.
