The picture does not update

I've opened the picture and also have opened it in PhotoShop and overwrited the original file with the edited version. When i return to the opened picture and hit F5 to refresh, the picture does not update. When I press Enter to go to browsing mode (a-2.jpg) and press Enter again to go view the picture, it still does not update (a-1.jpg). Only closing the program and reopening the file rwould show the updated picture.

Please try:

TEST 1:
1) I open A:\(Test-1)\1.jpg. And don't exit XnViewMP:

01.jpg

2) pofotoshop edit and save replace A:\(Test-1)\1.jpg.
3) go back to XnViewMP click F5 key reflash, but picture have nothing change!

@Walman:
In your screenshots, i didn't see either a Reopen or a Reload (hotkey:Ctrl-R). Look for it in View mode.

When I run into a stubborn (read:unchanged) thumbnail, I usually use View>Rebuild thumbnails (Bugger; no hotkey in Ubuntu's repo version), first selecting the "offender." It typically solves the problem.

Photoshop rarely doesn't apply changes to its EXIF thumbnails, but odder things than that have happened to me with it.
