XnViewMP linux no clips studio thumbnails

I tried XnViewMP 0.92 and 0.93 with Linux Mint and it do not generate thumbnails for Clip Studio Paint files .clip or .lip. browsing the forum and the list of feature it seem to say that clip studio files is supported.
So just to sure I installed the windows version 0.93 in Wine and this one generate thumbnails for .lip and .clip.

So.. is it a windows only feature or a bug ? I wonder.

I just went to try with the all format option, no change.
I made an other test, I can use batch convert to get a jpeg from a .clip with the windows version running in wine.
The same conversion fail with Linux native and I get this error message.

/mnt/1TB/____sketch_book_pratique/ezplosionComic5b.clip 0x0x0 : not a picture

Input files: 1
Extracted pages: 0

So after that I remembered that I also have XNconvert installed. Then the .clip conversion also give the same 0x0x0: not a picture error.

Is this still the case? I am currently using the macOS version, and .CLIP thumbnails are missing. Not sure if it is a setting, or not there. Would be great to have .CLIP support, I am using CSP professionally and have tons of them on my SSD

Is there any way to contribute or help with regard to Clip Studio thumbnails for MacOS? I of course would like to see it happen, maybe there are other Mac Users who also use CSP and XNV. It would be great if You considered it
