Batch rename: Don't rename when missing EXIF

Post by larsen »

Hello,

I often use the batch rename feature to rename files from different sources/people to get them in order. For this, I rename the files to "<Date Taken [Ymd_HMS]>".

Unfortunately, some people provide images that have been sent through WhatsApp and that software is removing EXIF data. Therefore, the new name for files would be empty.

Is there a way to tell XnView to not rename the file if the resulting file name would be empty?
