Fit Window to image

Today I installed xnview.
I found one annoyment that bugs me:

When I browse my images with teh "space bar" there is much more then just the picture and the menu visible:
A grey border appears.

Well there is an option "Fit window to image" that should do the trick.

It doesn't work.

do you have tried options>View>Force XnView to Fit image
