Hi,
consider this setting:
Windows 10x64 v1909 (non-admin rights account)
XnView Classic 2.49.1 (Standard installer)
Libformat Version 7.33
libwebp.dll present in C:\Program Files (x86)\XnView\PlugIns\
libwebp.dll not present in Info --> Plugin Information
If I open a .webp image from windows explorer, all I get is an empty XnView window.
But I can click the jpg image next to it and then seamlessly change to the .webp picture by pressing PgUp/PgDwn.
Deleting [...]\Roaming\XnView and reinstalling didn't help. Reboot didn't help.
XnView is set as standard image viewer in Win10 settings.
Anyone got some suggestion what I could do? Is there a debug mode or something?
Thank you,
Hanswurst
Cannot open .webp directly from explorer

Re: Cannot open .webp directly from explorer
Drag'n'drop on the xnview.exe works fine.
XnView MP also works fine. I'll probably stick to it.
However if you are interested in debugging this, I'm here to help.

Probably.
But I'm trying not to ruin my fresh Win10 install by using RegEdit or ShellExt tools right now
