Hello,
I do not use any thing special the format is jpeg (everything is in the normal setting)
I have a jpeg original and I d'like to resize it in jpeg !!
This is the image i d'like to convert (try to make it smaller)

This the image I get after using the soft

If I try any other setting (resize rescale whatever) I get this image ^^
Thanks

Watch---

- I resized you picture in XnView 1.80.3 into 801*1069 using Mitchell algo and JPEG as "Progressive" ticked when prompted for, just watch :

- I made that quickly… Indeed, the background has some minor artifacts, but the motif is quite viewable, anyway much better than your own resized pic…
- The same pic as thumb-nail size 105*141 using "Lanczos" method, and just "Adjust" the brightness by 10% + Gamma a pinch :

¤ In brief :
- Choose the best method in the “Resample” combobox, the two I used above are among the best (another might come in addition in a future version, just an output-size issue, though…)
