Running the latest xnview for macOS in Catalina. Very often I have a 100% CPU usage caused by xnview mp, even if xnview is minimized in the dashboard:
When I switch to another directory and then back, the CPU usage goes down to 1% or 2% for system and user.
Can you fix it?

Re: CPU 100%
No, all thumbnails have been generated several days ago. When I open any directory, they are there instantly, that means that the thumbnail database is fine.
I've noticed that the high CPU usage sometimes start when I double click a thumbnail (jpeg or tiff) to view it larger in the built-in preview. In other cases it is just by opening xnview mp to select an image to process it in my image editor via assigned shortcut »ALT/OPTION + 2«.
It seems to be arbitrary.
