Hi
So far, on both Arch and Debian variants of Linux, dragging and dropping anything into a subfolder copies the file/folder instead of moving it. Pressing shift while performing this will move the file instead of copying it. This happens during "Details" and "all "Thumbnails" views.
Any chance this can be fixed to work the right way round?
Any chance the thick overlay of selected files when dragging (Details view) can be removed so we can see the folder behind it to drop the files into? (Drag/Drop files in Details view and List view to see the difference)
Thanks
[Linux] Drag & Drop is copying not moving

Hi Pierre,
Files/Folders will copy if drag & dropped via all views except List and Icon, where it works as it should. Sorry I forgot to mention that.

no problem here to drag&drop files from thumbnail view into folder view or folder in thumbnail view (list or icon mode)
Pierre.
