Thumbnail Faster with More Processors ...

I've done some searching. I see people asking. I even see the developers saying "yes" a few times. I would really like to see ... no... I would even pay for software the used multiple cores to thumbnail images simultaneously.

... I have a threadripper with 16 cores and 32 threads. It has a big pile of SSDs attached to it and a 10G network connection to an enormous array of storage. I have a screens that have a neigh-on silly amount of real estate. It may only take my system a minute or so to thumnail a directory of enormous images, but it could easily be _much_ faster.

Please add multi-threaded thumbnailing to your to-do list...
