Deleting last item in view mode jumps out of custom filter

XnView MP Windows 0.96.4 64-bit

For photography I shoot jpeg+raw, so have two files for each shot. In XnView I have raw (*.orf) excluded under Browser > File list > custom filter. This gives me expected behaviour - *.orf are not displayed in Browser (though they are counted), nor are they displayed in View - I can scroll back and forth in View and only the jpegs are shown. So far so good.

However, in View, if I delete the last jpeg (the one at the end of the list, not the last remaining), view moves on to the next file, which is an orf, and if I'm not paying attention I can delete it, view moves on to the next file, which is an orf, and so on ad infinitum, until I've accidentally deleted all orf files.

So, in view mode, deleting a file causes 'next' to be displayed, but if you're at the end of the custom filter this skips out of the custom filter and into files which should not be displayed. To mind mind what should happen is that deleting the file at the end of the custom filter will cause 'previous' in custom filter to be displayed (unless it's the last remaining file of course!)
