Quadratic thumbnails?

I would like to have quadratic thumbnails (so thumbnails in portrait mode and in landscape mode have the same area). In XNView there was no problem to configure this, but in XNViewMP I can´t manage it.

But this thumbnails are too small for my purposes. Where can I change the user defined size?

The default is 96 x 96 but you can change that. There is also a slider on the top left where you can increase the size
