Adobe bridge

I have been using Bridge until I downloaded XnView and now want to delete Bridge without deleting the images. I have already deleted Photoshop but still have Bridge, DNG converter and media player in my applications folder.

I did a test and deleted an image from Bridge but it also deleted it from XnView.

How can I overcome this please?

if you delete it from Bridge, the file is deleted from the disk?
