Hi,
I am very new to XnView Mp. I am using a MacBook, my photos that are on Adobe Lighthouse came across straight away, but not the ones that are in the Apple Photo app. The Apple Photo app is listed in the initial dropdown menu, but when I click on it, all that I get is a folder which doesn’t open when I click on it.
When I click on the listing for Adobe Lighthouse, folders open that display all my photos sorted by date of creation, which is how I want to sort my photos. But, I would like to stop using Adobe Lighthouse, as at the moment I cannot afford it.
I have worked out how to import photos using Finder, but there was no sorting in these photos by the date the photos were taken. I could import all my photos this way, by importing a day at a time, but as I have nearly 20 years of photos, that would be quite a few hundred folders that I would have to create and then import.
I cannot work out how come my photos in Adobe Lighthouse is working perfectly, but the ones in the Photo app, isn’t working at all. I am not very technologically minded and I would really appreciate it if someone could explain to me in very simple terms what I am doing wrong.
Thank you for your help and I hope that you and your loved ones are all well!

Re: Importing photos
Hi, really sorry I can't help but just to say I have exactly the same problem. I can't import photos at all. I have tried exporting to XnViewMP from the Photos library but that didn't work either. Hope someone can help us. Best wishes.
Re: Importing photos
It does not appear to be possible to import directly from Apple Photos
