I have a large number of old FPX files from a Kodak digital camera. I have succeeded to convert them earlier (in 2011) but I would like to try again to see if I can get a better result than last time. Bu I can't get XnConvert or XnViewMP to work. I have downoaded the Xfpx.dll to the library "plugins".
When I try to convert in XnConvert it says: "0069.fpx 0x0x0: not a picture"
So I thought that maybe my files have been damaged.
Bu then I tried to convert a ordinary jpg file to a fpx file and that does not work either so I guess the program does not use the Xfpx.dll correctly.
It says it creates a new file but there is no fpx-file created.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
I´m running Windows 10

Re: FPX support
Just a guess: are you possibly using a 32-bit plugin on 64-bit XnConvert, in which case it might be worth trying again with 32-bit XnConvert??
You might also check, on the Settings tab, Load format settings -- Ignore read errors.

Re: FPX support
I started with the 64-bit but then I read that the plugin needs the 32-bit so I uninstalled the 64-bit and are now using the 32-bit. Thanks for the tip. Can it be that something remains in the registry so it still believes I´m running the 64-bit...?
Here is a link to one of my fpx files( https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqkdKlWU7r4IuKtEKre ... w?e=SgPjfP). It would be great if someone that has a working FPX conversion could test with this picture. Then I would know if I have problems with my files or with the installation.

I wouldn't think so, but I normally keep clear of the registry.truls wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:16 pm I started with the 64-bit but then I read that the plugin needs the 32-bit so I uninstalled the 64-bit and are now using the 32-bit. And 'ignore read errors' is checked?
It might help if you could provide an example FPX file for Pierre, or anyone else, to test if they have time...
