Feature request: File grouping, Thumbnails to the edge

I've been using xnView recently and want to suggest two features:

1.) Would it be possible to offer a thumbnail view to the edge, directly adjacent to each other?
2.) I would like a view in which I can see all files including files in sub-folders, grouped (instead of mixed-together) according to the sub-folders in which they are - with separators between this groups.

Would something like this be possible?
