But the mouse disappears for me and doesn't reapper when that dialogue is displayed. I think this was fixed once in an old RC, but never made it to final build.

I can confirm this. The "Adjust" dialogue is shown, but mouse cursor is invisible.

In Fullscreen light Shift+E does not open the Adjust dialog. But I think that's a general problem of Fullscreen light that no editing is possible (have I said that I don't like Fullscreen light).
