0.98.1: Film Simulation remove Alpha channel

XnView: MP 0.98.1 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64-bit

Effect: The Alpha channel is removed.

To reproduce:
  • Open a picture and select the Film Simulation

  • Choose any style
  • Alpha channel is removed

yes film simulation can't work with alpha channel

You can add steps to get the effect
  1. Extract the Alpha channel
  2. Apply film simulation
  3. Merge the Alpha channel back
