CCX support, option for video files

Post by Xyzzy »

Hello!

This version looks great :!:

No hope for CCX support? :?:

I'd like a setting to specify, for video files, second for which thumbnail is created. My video clips folder has mostly black squares as thumbs :(

I mean a new setting, like 'Frame number for video thumbnail' or 'Second for video thumbnail'. That would allow to create thumbnails based not on first frame of video, but on given frame or second (which is faster) of video.
I think this was already discussed, but I cannot find the thread.

First frame is used just for some format(s), for most formats frame after 10 or 20% is used.

Why not just create a feature that allow user to go through a movie and pick a frame for their thumbnails? I know a program that does that. This will solve all the black screen thumbnails.
