execute XBS "silent"

Post by otternase »

Hi

Question #1:
I have assigned a xbs script to a custom button on the toolbar.
But whenever I want to execute the script by pressing this button, the conversion dialogue is opened, I have to press "Convert" to start the process and have to manually close the conversion dialogue window.
What I want is a "silent" execution of the xbs script, just once pressing the toolbar button and then the conversion should start directly in the background, not opening any extra window and as long as no error happens also showing no "results".

Is there a way to automate this and execute the script in "silent mode"?

Side questions:

#2
Instead of a "label", is it possible to just show the script name in the toolbar?

#3
Is it possible to set a keyboard shortcut to a custom command in the toolbar?
