Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a folder with lots of images that don't have thumbnails generated yet. In thumbnail view.
2. Immediately press "end" button to jump to the last image in the folder.
What happens: the thumbnail generating stops. It does not automatically generates anymore until you move the cursor.
I have noticed this bug for a very long time, only today I noticed it's the "end" key causes it. Jump by pgup/pgdn won't cause the issue.

On win7 and win10. Yes I can always reproduce. There are some other conditions that sometimes will make it pause. But using End is the most reliable way.
