Unable to verify / launch XnViewMP 0.99.4 on Big Sur 11.6

I just downloaded and installed XnViewMP 0.99.4 on Big Sur 11.6.

When I try and launch the app, I get the error "... can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." See attachments for pop up error and version of mac OS.

Strange, it works on Monterey. You had same problem with previous version?
