Hi!
I've been an XnView Classic user for years!
I've been ignoring this problem for a while, but enough is enough now.
Currently ver. 250.4 ver. 7.99
The settings I put into the 'Options' don't always 'STICK', especially the one that I choose to open the last folder viewed, but also the size of the thumbnails (I want 233w x 147h) , the order of how I view them ('NAME') is my choice, but it always goes back to 'DATE'.
I have added a specific Cache folder, and the most recent .ini file is there. However, I just opened the program, and it went to a different image folder, and the standard 170w x 140h thumbnail size right after I made the changes I wanted.
This wasn't always the case. I just don't recall how long these issues have been going on, sorry. It's been a while, though, several updates ago.
HELP!

Hi Pierre!
That's correct. I just now opened the program, and it went to a particular folder.
I went to a completely different folder, closed the program, and opened it again, and it went to that same earlier folder, not the last one I viewed.
Also, the size of the thumbnails went back to 170w x 140h from the 233w x 147h that I just set and reopened the program.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Re: Options Window Doesn't 'Save' What I Want!
I've just searched for the file on my C: drive I have 4 hard drives on this comp:
C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Roaming\XnView - dated 1/22/2022
and also: C:\Program Files (x86)\XnView - dated 7/1/2018 <=====ODD!!??
SOOOO...
I just now deleted the .ini file from 2018, reset the thumbnail sizes, went to a different folder and checked the thumbnail size, and shut XnView off, then restarted it, and it worked fine!
Thank you, Pierre, for pointing me in the right direction!
