check for new version handler error

I checked for a new version and a message popped up saying one is available. I clicked the download new version button and got the following error. At the top it says Error KIO client Below that is the following:

Could not find any application or handler for https://www.xnview.com/update.php?app=2 ... b48fa6c0d7

How do I fix this? This dinosaur is running Kubuntu 20.04
