Subject: 0.99.7: Printing: Problem with Margins
XnView: MP 0.99.7 64 bit
OS: Windows 11 64bit
Print dialog margin settings are ignored if set to 0/zero.
Effect: Sometimes it is impossible to set the margins to zero.
To reproduce:
1. Select at least one image
2. CTRL+P to open print dialog
3. Set page layout to "Single - Stretch to page"
4. Check "Automatically rotate the picture if needed"
5. Set all four margin values to 0
6. Click print button
Actual behaviour (bug): Margin values of zero are ignored on the Preview panel and also on the printing result (I tried three different printers and also two pdf printer drivers). The weird thing is, if you repeat the 6 steps multiple times the problem disappears and the zero margins are correctly printed.
In previous versions of MP there existed a different problem with zero margins: On the first print with zero margins everything worked as expected but from then on zero margins caused an empty preview panel and also empty pages came out of the printer. But this effect got repaired sometimes in the last months.
Expected behaviour: Margins set to zero should work and not cause problems with disappearing previews/images.
