1.00: Show Companion File Toggle Not Functional

Post by mrbutton »

XnView: MP 1.00 64-bit
OS: Windows 11

I frequently use the "Show Companion Files" toggle to show/hide Fujifilm raw files (.RAF extension). After installing 1.00, I found that toggling this on/off does nothing, and all RAF files show regardless of setting. I am unsure if this applies to other types of files at the moment.

Effect: Files are not hidden from file list as expected or observed on previous versions.

To reproduce:
Unclear. In this case toggle the option and see if it works. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the program, and removed and re-added "RAF" to the companion definitions list. Neither attempt corrected the issue.

Reverting back to 0.99.7 immediately corrected the issue.
