1.02: program constantly freezes/hangs when playing or switch video

Post by fireattack »

There is no reliable STR, but it happens so frequently that it's almost guaranteed to happen if you're trying to view a folder with batch of videos.

It mostly happens when you go Prev/Next file while one is playing back, both in browser (with preview) and viewer mode.

If you're in browser mode, it sometimes only freeze the preview thread, so you can just click somewhere else to recover. But if you're in viewer mode, the whole program will always freeze.

Windows 7. A mix of MP4/MKV formats, x264 encoding. Yes auto-play is on.

Edit: reproduced on my Win10 machine, too.

It looks like nothing has changed, I downloaded version 1.3 x64 today and I get the same problem with the program freezing when clicking on a video.

everything happens exactly the same as in the video, nothing has changed with the new version
Regarding OpenGL, I have no idea where to look at the version. I went to AIDA64 there in the OpenGL section there are ticks for all versions from 1.1 to 4.6 :?:
