rating stars in preview window not stored when mouse has not moved

I am rating photo's in a folder, by traversing the images using keyboard buttons to move between images, and I have the mouse pointer over the stars in the large preview panel.

I observe that the rating is not stored unless the mouse has moved since the last rating.

To reproduce:
Open a folder with multiple images to rate.
Move through the images with keys
Rate one image with 3 by mouse click on 3 star in lower part of large preview panel
Press right key (don't move mouse) => now the rating shows on the previous image
Rate next image with 3 by mouse click
Press right key => no rating shows on previous image

Note: I just found out that it is actually much more convenient to use Ctrl+4 etc for rating ...

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.3.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

checked in 1.5.2 (sorry, I'm an infrequent user).

Although I now see ratings appearing in the overview (multi-image) panel after the second move-right, I think it would be much more helpful if the rating appears right when the star is clicked, same as when I press keyboard shortcuts Ctrl-<n> where n is 0..5: then I get immediate feedback, showing the star on the image in the overview pane and the colored stars in the preview-pane. When I click the star-icons in the preview window the same feedback appears in the overview pane only after I have moved to the next image.
