Help needed - Switching Mode When opening from a File !

Hi, firstly, fantastic piece of software have been using it happily for years now.

However, I've always found the settings for "Switching Mode" and "Mode when starting from a file" very confusing. I did finally get V0.93 (and previous classic versions) to behave the way I wanted after hours of trial and error.

But I recently updated to V1.3 and have lost those 'golden' settings - so annoying !

I've just spent another couple of hours reading this forum and user guides, and now have the Switching Mode working when Xnview is running, but I just cannot find how to get the file integration mode to behave like this :-

If I click/open a picture in Windows Explorer, it opens the picture in Fullscreen view (complete with mouse scroll zoom in/out, and cursor keys for next/previous file etc.) and when I press Esc - I want it to return to windows explorer (i.e. close the XnviewXP integration).

The best I can now achieve is for it to go into Xnpview browser mode when pressing Esc.

Can someone help me get that setting back please ? None of the options under "Mode when starting from a file" seem to acieve this !

Not Tools > Settings > Interface -- Keyboard tab :

Pressing Esc once quits XnViewMP -- Only in fullscreen ?
