It would be interesting to add an option to this function, with a checkbox :
"Transfer only if destination field is empty"
when one wants to update a large number of pictures without risking to overwrite a work already done.
This could also reduce the risk of mistakes.
With perhaps a small report showing the number of updated photos / selected photos.

Note this function is also useful to delete a metadata in a set of images.
So "Transfer" with an empty field should still work well for deletion when the new option stays not checked.
