GPS data under Linux with version 1.4.0

Post by bigb262 »

When I try to display the GPS data with version 1.4 .0, the program crashes! That was not the case with version 1.3x! My operating system is Opensuse Tumbleweed. Hopefully someone can help me here.

I have the same problem with Ubuntu 22.04 and 20.04
XnViewMP 1.4.0 crashes immediately when the "GPS"-Tab is clicked.
This happens with the *.deb , with the AppImage and with the *tar.gz - version.

Error in terminal is shown:

Code: Select all

############################################ InfoPropertiesView

Create Tree : Datei
Create Tree : Bild
Create Tree : Kamera
######### CategoryModel :: checkAndSave()
QObject::connect: No such signal GPSMapWidget::reloadMap()
Could not find QtWebEngineProcess
Aborted (core dumped)
Shall I fill a bug-template? I could send an Ubuntu crash-report, too.

There is a new problem:
Clicking a thumbnail shows the red pin on the map. After clicking one more thumbnail, it shows the adjacent pin but the first pin is not deleted. And so on. For every thumb I click, it shows the pin and I can't tell, what thumb it belongs to. I have to restart xnviewmp to get the map cleared off pins.

Very good is, that zooming by mousewheel is now possible.
