when i want to display a picture in window it looks good, when i display in full screen it gets unset even if i set it right it still looks bad in full screen, and when i display in window again it looks all wrong even if i set it right , this BUG is unpleasant and makes XnView MP an useless software
I love this software but this BUG is unbearable and Unpleasant, PLEASE fix it
I go to properties and I configure it to be seen in the window and in full screen the way i want, but when I view it in the window (it looks different from how I put it to see it), the same thing happens when I see it in full screen (it looks different from how I put it to see it)
I set it one way but it looks another way, totally Unpleasant!
Hugs Everyone and thanks for XnView MP, but this bug is really Unpleasant!
can't be used like this
now i am using the viewer that comes by default in windows

Welcome!
Are you able to illustrate the issue using screenshots, or in some other way describe the issue in more detail?
That would probably be for someone else to hopefully respond.

Hello, thank you very much for answering.
I think I was very clear in my words, in the same way I will show proof
Please give me a few minutes and I'll show screenshots
First registration I think today from Columbia, but there is a British saying that 'A picture is worth a thousand words'...
Edit:
There is also the question of the menu View > Auto image size setting that you are using, and also possibly some Tools > Settings... settings which you might like to look at, although those should not result in corrupted image display. Your screenshots could be very helpful, but as I indicated probably for someone else.

If you have been using XnView MP for some time, and think this is a new issue, you can download earlier versions to test or use from this link.
I have the most recent version
the bug exists
AND... old versions does not make sense to use

THIS IS THE PROBLEM... WHEN I SEE IT IN A WINDOW, AND AFTER I PUT IT IN FULL SCREEN, WHEN I WANT TO PUT IT IN A WINDOW AGAIN, THE IMAGE GETS SMALL, THAT IS THE PROBLEM (THAT IS THE BUG), WHEN I RETURN FROM FULL SCREEN, THE IMAGE GETS SMALL AND I HAVE TO PRESS THE KEY (ASTERISK), DOING THAT, THE IMAGE RETURNS TO ITS DEFAULT RESOLUTION!
I don't know the answer, this is one for Pierre the developer of xnview software, or any other volunteer who might be able to help.
I am normally in Linux, and if your issue is that the View > Auto image size setting is not being remembered, I might have been seeing something similar recently, but I don't have time to investigate. Are using Windows, and if so which version?
You could look at Tools > Settings > Integration tab and see where your .ini file is located: if it is currently in User (Program) you could try moving it to User (System).
Otherwise, you could try testing an earlier versions such as 1.0 to see if the issue is there, I posted the download link above.
