FaceTag Not Working

having downloaded zip and copied the FaceTag folder into the ../AddOn dir, the Face Tag option didn't work; then i realized that you have to select (and tag) INDIVIDUAL photos!

well, that is not going to happen.

pls compare digiKam, although it is not perfect in operation

FaceTag detect face and you can enter the name...

That works if there was no entry for a face, but if there was a wrong entry, changing the name doesn't work. Ican put in a new name, and click "write" , all seems fine, but when i go back to that picture, the name hasn't been updated.
