A suggestion:
When carrying out the conversion of thousands of image files, from time to time error cases occur, where it was not possible to process and convert some images.
A summary record of these errors is indicated in bold, red color, in the lower right corner of the "Status" tab of XNConverter.
The problem is that the indication only shows the number of errors, but does not show where they were.
I suggest that, at the end of the conversion, XNConverter generates a report file indicating such errors, the file(s) and the location(s) of the folder(s) where the failure(s) occurred.
If this feature already exists, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, as I'm not an expert in XnConverter.

Re: Suggestion: Fail report
It would be enough if there aren't thousands of converted images.
In a list of thousands of images, it's a bit difficult to find the specific log message that indicates one error or another.
Almost like looking for a needle in a haystack.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Batch convert... in XnView MP and XnConvert nominally use the same code, the above change can be expected to be included in the next XnConvert release...kaminajihat wrote: Fri May 12, 2023 10:35 pmI think I made a small mistake regarding the forum section...xnview wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 12:18 pm This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.5. Re: Suggestion: Fail report
I tend to only use XnConvert, so I wasn't aware of the code similarity with the other software.cday wrote: Sat May 13, 2023 4:53 amBatch convert... in XnView MP and XnConvert nominally use the same code, the above change can be expected to be included in the next XnConvert release...kaminajihat wrote: Fri May 12, 2023 10:35 pmI think I made a small mistake regarding the forum section...xnview wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 12:18 pm This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.5.
