Can embedding thumbnails speed up thumbnail generation process?

I often move image files using other program, and it takes a while to generate thumbnails again in xnview-mp. I'm curious if embedding a thumbnail into the image would speed up the process.

yes, embedded image speed up thumbnail generation for JPEG or RAW
