During the process of using the "convert in series" function to convert images from NEF to JPEG, a strange phenomenon occurs. The converted images appear much clearer, as if the exposure has been altered, even though no specific "action" was set beforehand. I have checked the software version and settings, and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but no changes were observed.

Why do the images become significantly clearer when using the "convert in series" function? Is this a new feature of the current software version or an unintended bug?

looks like a bug in Batch convert, as no such issue when save via Viewer
