Foldername is empty

Why must I find folder name in convert-output directory all time. The folder name is all time same directory where are picture's. It's everytime empty?

Having a default entry in the field "output directory" makes sense, though one has to be careful: If the user just applies modifications and does not change the format, the original files might be overwritten (there is still a message box, before overwriting). Perhaps setting the name of the current directory + \temp. Then overwriting images will never happen and the user still can change the path manually or using the dialog, if needed.

Other suggestions, ideas?
