XNView 1.5.4 crashes

Hi updated to 1.5.4 and it loads and shows initial view. If I shows some folder its fine but if I show say desktop and some others it crashes.

which file's format do you have in "problem" folders

One of the problems folders is my desktop in Windows 11 which has a varity of files and folders as shown in attached file.
I downloaded back to 1.5.3 and that is working without crashing. Hope this helps.

Will do and send PM with link to OneDrive. Now uploading but so slow on my connection.

The link has been sent PM.
I had deleted a 1.5 gb file but tried 1.5.4 again and it still crashed. Some folders are ok but it crashes on other folders but always on the Desktop.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
