With the new border/spacing settings, in some cases a thin line of the highlight color remains in the first selected thumbnail. To reproduce, enter into a folder by clicking in the containing folder icon in the thumbnail view: after the thumbs are displayed, as usual the first thumb gets automatically selected and highlighted; if you then select another thumb, the first one displays a thin line on its bottom in the highlight color (see the attached picture). Note that if you enter a folder by selecting it from the folder tree, no thumb gets automatically selected and the problem does not appear.
This happens with the border set to anything between 0 and 8, but it should have been introduced in RC1 since it didn't appear in previous releases or betas.

Could you tell me which value/colors do you have for your thumbnails to reproduce it?
Background is RGB(47,48,62), back is RGB(56,57,75). Highlight of course is set in Windows XP display properties|appearance|selected items and is RGB(0,213,0). The labels' text back color is the same as the thubnail back, RGB(56,57,75). Wait... while checking I just found out that it seems to depend on the "flat style" setting: with the same other settings, if Flat style is checked the line appears, if it's not it doesn't. I guess that the code changes you implemented for border and spacing have introduced this bug, visible only with that style activated and only if entering a folder from the thumbnail view, as I outlined above. BTW, I've no use for the border but it's nice to be able to set the spacing.

As I said in the first post, it happened to me with spacing set to various values between 0 and 8; it happens both if the first thumb belongs to a file or a folder and, as you may have noticed in the picture, the line that appears is the last line of the label which gets painted in the highlight color. Remember that if you enter a folder via the tree this doesn't happen, you need to enter by clicking the folder in the thumbnail view (so you need to have folders displayed for that to happen).
Pierre, I've PM'd you my email address. As I said here http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?p=23668#23668 I deleted my .ini and restarted, which fixed the problem with html files not being shown, and changed this problem: while before it always occurred, now it seems to happen only sometimes and often the remaining line does not take up the whole thumb width as in the picture above but just the last half or third... I've been testing only in the last hour, but sometimes the "line segment" appears also in other thumbs, not just the first... We'll see with the test version when I receive it.
