Format conversion does not support preserving metadata

When I use XNVIEW MP to convert pictures to HEIC format, the metadata of the source files cannot be preserved.

I exported the JPG files on my phone to PC, then used XNVIEW MP to convert them to HEIC, and then imported them to my phone to save storage space. However, now XNVIEW MP does not support retaining metadata when converting JPG, causing the sorting and date information in the gallery to be confused after HEIC format pictures are imported to the mobile phone.

Can this function be implemented? It is hoped that XNVIEW MP can retain the metadata of the source file when converting it to pictures in any format.

I just tried it and it does preserve the metadata of the source file.
