Switching between tabs

For example, the web browser Vivaldi (and perhaps others through plug-ins) offers the possibility to return to the previously active tab by clicking a second time on a tab. If you click again, the current tab becomes active again. This means that you no longer have to move the mouse, but simply click several times to switch between tabs.

There is also a function to return to the previous tab when the current tab is closed. With XnView MP I always found it annoying that it switched to the tab to the left and not, for example, to the file browser from which I came before.

With Vivaldi, the order of the selected tabs is obviously saved, because you can switch to the one before that by clicking on the previous tab a second time and so on.

I would regard such functions in XnView MP as a great enrichment.
