How to get rid of left vertical tabs "Catalog filter", "Favorites"?

On the left side there are currently (in Gallery view) 3 vertical tabs:

"Catalog filter", "Favorites" and "Folders".

How can I hide them all (and the tab vertical bar) at all forever?

The left pane should only and always show (in Gallery mode) the folder tree.

You can organize your layout as you want by choosing a free layout in View/Layout/Free.
Don't forget to save then to find it if necessary.
