1.6.4: Default/Last Path reverts to Program folder

maybe not a bug but odd behaviour:

As a default XnView opens with the last used folder. Practical solution.

But if that folder doesn't exist anymore it will open the program folder. Unpractical as unlikely anyone is checking for pictures in that folder.

Suggestion: Default to the pictures folder or have a settings which folder should be the start folder. If someone selects an option to use the last folder, the start folder should be used.

Would it be possible to detect when the last used folder no longer exists, and then open the pictures (for example) folder?
