Newbie help request - Face Tagging

Post by ACEWEO »

Hi
Have just started using Xnviewmp and am still finding my way. I have a question regarding face tagging.
I've installed ver 1.6.4 64 bit (Windows) - Libformat 7.170, once installed folowing what I've read online I selected Tools|Plugins|AddOns Face Tagging which appeared to install the addon included in the download, but I cannot find the option to use this anywhere in the application, am I missing something wrong? Ive looked under the metadata menu and the Tools|Plugins which only shows the AddOn installed. Ive included a screenshot of these screens.

The application is installed at C:\Program Files\XnViewMP, the AddOn installed at C:\Program Files\XnViewMP\AddOn and contains 3 files
I also notice that in the following location C:\Users\tonyn\AppData\Roaming\XnViewMP\AddOns the AddOn appears again but this time with 4 files one of which is called 'install.txt. So I'm a bit confused.

A brief skim through the wiki and forum didn't help much as the assumption semed to be that the AddOn was installed.

The image type I'm trying to tag is a simple *jpg

Any help or advice would be greatly received

Many Thanks
Tony
